Frequently Asked Questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHICH COURSE IS BEST FOR ME?

There are 3 courses that make up our full Professional Community Management Course. Many students who have just launched a new community, or have a few years of community management experience often wonder where they should start. Here's an overview of our 3 courses:

How to Start an Online Community is the first course in the series. It is designed for those who are looking to start an online community, or for those whose community is struggling to reach critical mass. If your community has not yet reached the establishment phase of the online community lifecycle, then this is the course for you.

Successful Community Management picks up where the first course leaves off. It's designed for communities that have already reached critical mass, and are moving through the establishment or early maturity phases of the lifecycle.

Advanced Community Strategy focuses on bigger picture concepts related to community strategy. It's most applicable for communities that are active, stable, and are in the maturity or mitosis phase the community lifecycle.

To answer the question of which course is most applicable, you'll need to take a good look at where your community sits within the online community lifecycle.

If less than 50% of your growth and activity is generated organically, meaning not derived from your community management efforts, then your community is struggling to reach critical mass. Communities that have not yet reached critical mass benefit greatly from the lessons in How to Start an Online Community as this course covers how to adequately perform market research, position a community's concept to drive activity, as well as micro-level tactics for stimulating the initial activity and growth that's critical to community success.

If between 50% - 90% of your community's growth and activity is generated organically by members then Successful Community Management is the best fit as the tactics & strategies discussed are best suited for communities that already have a solid base of organic activity.

If over 90% of your community's growth and activity is generated organically then you're likely best suited for Advanced Community Strategy.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTENSIVE TRAINING AND ON-DEMAND?

Our Intensive Training takes the same concepts that are delivered in the On-Demand training, and supports them with guided student chats, one-on-one coaching calls with FeverBee instructors, personalized feedback and attention towards your weekly homework and assignments, and easy access to the FeverBee training team.

If you feel that you need a bit more support on your community journey, the Intensive Training courses are best for you. The key thing to understand is that the Intensive versions of our courses are only delivered a few times per year. Please review the Course Dates section of our Intensive Training page for the up-to-date schedule.

WHY DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT WITH SCHOOLKEEP?

WHY DO THE PRICES OF THE COURSE CHANGE?

We make our courses available to purchase while they're various stages of development. Purchasing a course during these stages will save you money, but the caveat is that not all the content will be available for you at the time of purchase. You will ultimately receive all of the content as it progresses through the development process, so you don't have to worry about missing out on anything.

Purchasing the course while it is Under Development is a perfection option for someone who is looking to save money, or isn't ready to start the course right away. The price for the course will increase as we move closer to the launch date.

Please note that we reserve the right to increase or decrease the cost of our courses at any time.

WHAT DOES "UNDER DEVELOPMENT" MEAN?

"Under Development" means that we are still adding the bulk of the learning content to the course. This means that not all of the videos, PDFs, guest presentations, interviews, and assignments will be available, and other students may not be participating in the discussions. You can purchase the course at a reduced price while it is under development, and the remaining content will be added as we move through the development cycle.

CAN I USE MULTIPLE COUPON CODES FOR A SINGLE PURCHASE
